Dr. Guido Stebner becomes new interim manager of Vetropack Italia

06.03.2024: Vetropack, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of glass packaging, has announced today that Sergio Antoci, Managing Director of Vetropack in Italy, has left the company. Until further notice, the Italian subsidiary will be managed by Dr. Guido Stebner, CTO of Vetropack.

Sergio Antoci, who has been responsible for Vetropack 's Italian business as Managing Director since 2015, has left the company by mutual agreement at the end of February. "We would like to expressly thank Sergio Antoci for his commitment and his contribution to the success of Vetropack Italy," explains Johann Reiter, CEO of Vetropack. "We now have important challenges ahead of us in one of Europe's most attractive markets. We have therefore already started the search for a suitable successor."

In the interim, Dr. Guido Stebner, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Vetropack for Engineering and Production since 2021, will take over the management of Vetropack Italy as an extension of his current CTO role. "With our new plant in Boffalora sopra Ticino, which we opened last year, we have one of the most modern and sustainable glass production facilities in Europe," explains Dr. Guido Stebner. "In the coming months, we will therefore focus entirely on fully realising the potential of these technologies and using them profitably for existing and new customers."
