Employee Spotlight: Manuela Salvagno

Previously, she worked for more than eight years in the neighbouring building at Vetropack Switzerland as Product Manager for key accounts in the wine, beer and food segments. 

At Müller+Krempel she now looks after more than 70 different suppliers from the glass, aluminium, cardboard, paper, wood and plastic sectors. All but one of these suppliers are based in Europe. As a sales representative, she is also the direct contact person for major customers in the pharmaceutical industry.

“My main tasks are varied because M+K is active in so many different areas," explains Manuela. “Whether it is pipettes for pharmacies and hospitals, jars or bottles for mountain farmers or distilleries, laboratory containers for research or customised items for large companies, I am responsible for ensuring that everything is available in the required quantity at the right time. Coordinating, planning, optimising the use of transport and storage capacity and keeping my finger on the pulse of this and that is my day-to-day job.” 

She works closely with the internal sales team, the shop manager and the warehouse team. “For me at M+K, many threads come together. That's what makes my job exciting, challenging and varied,” says Manuela.

She emphasises the great team and the excellent spirit at Müller Krempel. “We are an M+K family,” she emphasises, adding: “This, together with the responsibility I am given, is a sign of great trust in me and my abilities. That's why I like working here.”
