Employee Spotlight: Franz Dörr

What makes him like working at Vetropack? “I guess it’s the whole package, but above all it’s the familial environment and being able to work in such a state-of-the-art, top-equipped workshop.”

Franz Dörr is a foreman responsible for the entire job change activities at Vetropack plant at Pöchlarn. He started working as a job change operator in the IS workshop at Vetropack back in 1995. The first time was not easy for him, he says in retrospect. His supervisor challenged him and quickly had him pass through many different stations across the plant. In truth, his supervisor had seen the young man's great potential and so prepared him for a bright career at Vetropack. Franz Dörr next worked as a shift worker on a substitute basis within the IS workshop and then became a job change team leader. What makes him like working at Vetropack? "I guess it's the whole package, but above all it's the familial environment and being able to work in such a state-of-the-art, top-equipped workshop", Franz Dörr tells us.
