Memberships
Vetropack is an active member of associations and interest groups that work together to achieve excellence in innovation, quality, sustainability and training in the glass industry. As part of our memberships, we are involved in initiatives such as «Close the Glass Loop» and raising public awareness of the benefit of glass packaging through the «Friends of Glass» Community.
FEVE (Fédération Européenne du Verre d'Emballage)
FEVE is the European Federation of Glass Packaging Manufacturers and represents the interests of the industry at European level. The association has some 60 corporate members belonging to over 20 independent corporate groups. Its members produce 80 billion glass containers per year, and include major companies working for the world’s biggest consumer brands. With its 160 manufacturing plants located across 23 European States, the industry is a key economic partner in Europe, and maintains 125.000 jobs along the total supply chain.
As an active member, we work closely with FEVE to promote the benefits of glass packaging and drive sustainable solutions. This includes supporting research projects, participating in industry conferences and collaborating on initiatives to increase recycling rates.

IPGR (International Partners in Glass Research)
International Partners in Glass Research (IPGR) is a global research organisation devoted to promoting glass science and technology through collaboration between the industry, colleges and universities, and public authorities. As a member of IPGR – which is chaired by Vetropack’s CTO Dr. Guido Stebner – our company works with glass manufacturers, research institutes and universities across the globe to drive projects ahead and share specialist knowledge.
CelSian (former TNO)
CelSian offers technological solutions and services for the glass industry. Through our membership, we benefit from advanced research results and innovative technologies to improve our production processes.
Cetie (Centre Technique International de l'Embouteillage)
Cetie is a technical centre that focuses on the standardisation and optimisation of filling and packaging processes. Our membership helps us to increase the efficiency of our production processes and ensure the highest quality standards.
HVG-DGG (Hüttentechnische Vereinigung der Deutschen Glasindustrie und Deutsche Glastechnische Gesellschaft)
This association promotes the exchange of technical knowledge and co-operation in the glass industry. Our membership gives us access to expertise and technical support.
Food Packaging Forum
The Food Packaging Forum provides independent scientific information on the health and environmental impacts of food packaging. Our membership helps us to make informed decisions about packaging safety and sustainability.
